Types of Membership

There are two types of membership of The T Party: full and associate. Most members are Full Members, meaning that they participate fully in the group’s activities and are entitled to all the privileges that group membership offers. (These are detailed below.) Associate Members are those who enjoy socialising with T Party members but who do not or cannot fully participate in the group’s activities – for example, they do not attend workshops and are not expected to give or receive critiques.

Most Associate Members are former Full Members; exceptionally, they may also be writers known to the group who cannot fully participate, perhaps for reasons of geography. Associate Membership is granted at the Committee’s discretion and most New Members are expected initially to join as Full Members.
